If you have been dating for a while (a few weeks to a few months): If the person you are seeing ends up exposing an important part of themselves that you can’t see accepting for the long-term, then now is the time to leave. If you see the red flags, walk away. Don’t let the situation get worse than what it is now. 

Those in a long-term relationship (more than six months to years): There may be more conflict than usual with your partnership. Try your best to work through the conflict that arises and focus on communicating effectively.

If you are single: Do not let your ex swing back around just because you are lonely. They’re an ex for a reason.

There is going to be an increase of miscommunication, conflict, and boundary violations within your work life. Nothing too hectic will occur, but the incidents will leave you feeling annoyed and maybe even slightly burnout. Try your best to navigate these challenges and lean on the people who are truly in your corner at work for support.

Connecting with others is important. Community is important. Coming together as one is important. But none of that is beneficial if you are at risk of losing who you are authentically for the sake of another/ the group. Authenticity is important both personally and spiritually, no person or group is worth the sacrifices and pain it takes to hide the real and special you.

I know it can be scary to be your authentic self, but you shine brighter when you get to be you. Don’t let another person dim your shine just because you don’t fit their standards. There will be people who will be for you, who will LOVE you exactly as you are. Wait for those people, don’t settle for people who dim you.
